Just a quick question.

I'm about to order a D70, but I'm not sure which memory card will fit it? Also is there any particular ones which you would recommend?

Any Compact Flash card will fit. Try 7 day Shop for some good bargains. I have expensive ones and cheap ones and haven't really noticed any difference between them to be honest. Unless you need lots of successive shots and a quick write speed, I'd opt for one of the cheapy ones. You can get 4GB cards for under £20 now.

Yep, them's the ones ;)

I have a couple of These (http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=99857) and they have been ok.

One last question (I promise!!) on Ffordes it doesn't state the filter thread diameter of the 18-70mm lens - can you tell me what it is?

If you are not wanting fast cards of any sorts I have a couple of Datawrite 8 Gb cards here that you could purchase el cheapo if you like..:nuts:

I've no idea on that one, as my kit lens is a 28-80mm.
