Lens advice please

I've seen a Sigma 28-105 F3.8-5.6 IF UC3 for sale at a good price. Are they any good? I'm looking for something that gives a little more range than the kit 18-70. Cheers

I havent heard much about the lens you mention (neither has anyone else I suspect, hence the lack of replies)

If you want something of that range, check out the Nikkor 24-120 VR...

An 18-200 would also do the job quite well. Sigma version if budget is lower, Nikkor if higher...

The 28-105 won't give you much more than your kit lens. From your gallery, I would go for a longer lens (say up to 200)to complement the 18-70. I'm definitely not lens expert though, so somebody else might tell you that's rubbish :shrug: As usual, it depends what your budget is.
