I am always having to delete PM's to make room becuase it's always full but I don't want to delete the majority becuase they hold info that I might need later.
Could we have the pm box limit to about 100 messages please?
There is an option at the bottom of the screen to download all your PM's as CSV, Text or XML :shrug:

The existing limit is fine, IMHO. If it is made much larger then people won't be so inclined to weed out the rubbish.
You've managed to get 50 messages? I hardly get any :'( :embarrassed:

whats I've nuked the godawful garbage from Paul and Kev i usually have a enough space left for Kerso Comms, Adam and other worthwhile contributors :lol:

create a folder on your HDD and download them, we give everyone a very generous amount of gallery space to host photos, so restricting the amount of PMs is an unfortunate side effect of that...
Just a thought (I sometimes forget this too), but do you clearout your sentbox too? I find if I keep on top of that, it doesnt fill up.
its hard for us to fill up our admin limits of 50000 though marcel, to be fair...
Well I did drop it to 20000, but df said it was too small..

Maybe an option in user control panel that we can have to cahnge our storage to use it how we like? Is that possible? Becuase I don't use any space for the gallery and I would prefer that space to be sued for PM storage...

ive had a quick look but cant see anything that allows user control of the sizes. does anyone else find they run out of room quick? I always download my messages before deletion, at least that way i can lose them on my pc then instead....
I find the best way to stop getting too many PM's is to be unlikeable, that way nobody wants to talk to you.
That's my excuse anyway.:coat:
Yeah, I'm always finding I purge PM's I don't really want to. I download them occasionally, but none of the formats are particularly useful or intuitive.
Still, at least there is a PM facility here :D

Talking of forum matters, one question ive been wanting to ask; Who actually owns the forum? Ie who pays for this great place and who hosts it? Who was the creator of this place? (Please say its the Admin Elf, because he is real!)

I did **** all apart from providing the grumpy acidic 2 peneth at strategic times......usually 2 hours after it was needed
I am trying to get more involved though.......real time verbal tirades are in much more demand of late.

yup bod made it look the way it does...without him, the taste and style would have been down to me, and those who saw what i did to the test theme when bod moved house will tell you that would have been very bad.
