That's a really nice duotone effect. I've done some experimenting with Gradient maps which is a similar process. I find it retains more detail and you have more flexability than with duotones :shrug:

Prefer Tritones myself..............although Duo isn't bad :D

I like them too but i find that when i save as jpeg or for the web i loose the duotone and it saves as b&w or greyscale

Hi PPP - not sure what software you use for post processing (I use photoshop CS) but the trick is to make the duotone and once you're happy with it convert it to RGB.

Give that a try and see what happens.

Yep, that's the way, greyscale images limit the amount of options available so I find it better to "create a new document from current state" discard the colour information via greyscale & duo/tri/quadtone & then convert back to RGB - if for any reason you need elements from your original image, you have a copy readily available :thumbs:
