Ian never be afraid to darken your images a little to bring out the colour saturation. If you look at your shot it's just a tad 'wishy' and light, and images straight out of the camera tend to be on the over-exposed side anyway. I just dropped the gamma slightly, gave it a sharpen and cleaned his teeth.

Tell me to bugger off I don't mind! :D

oooh I am a huge cat fan. Their such huge beasts aren't they? Gotta love em! Those are all great shots Ian. My fave is the tiger shot that CT liked as well. Looks like he's telling someone to f*** right off, lol. It's wonderful to see the teeth and the piercing eyes. Well done! I on the other hand don't mind the yellow teeth. Although they don't look that appealing, he is a tiger. Not too many carry toothbrushes :p Adds to the the whole feel of the pic IMHO. The shot of the paw is an interesting shot too. How did you get that. Did you ask to shake hands??:p

Jewel.

that last one looks posessed.

great shots.

Ive been on one of these photo shoots with a mate was a great day out.

Considering i could get my trusty ixus lense through the mesh anywhere, rather than the points they had cut to fit SLR lenses through, i got some good results!

IanC_UK
11-08-2005, 19:52
LOL yeah it was possessed ! Demon thing !

There were no holes cut in the fence on this trip, and the mesh was smaller than 77mm spacing so that a wide open 100-400 pressed against the wire ! and very small depth of field stopping the wire beign seen !

one i went to was a private house. Private leopard sanctuary.

I was invited by a friend who had booked through some magazine.

They had holes you could just fit a SLR lense through in strategic places.

there isnt much on the net about it, and it all looks a bit DIY.

Google " Santago Rare Leopard Project " they are in welwyn

Narrowed mine down to 78! But saved as 16 bit per channel, thinking I was being clever :annoyed:

Just managed to fill my hard drive and end up with images photoshop doesn't like.

Will take the laptop to work tomorrow and hope I'm not too busy! :whistling
