Whilst the pole looks sort of upright my eyes can't accept the background being so rotated. Think you need to turn it about 4 degrees clockwise. Exposure and composition don't look too bad.

I'm no fan of mono and this one won't be changing my mind. I find it very hard to be objective with most monos so I'll leave it there :)

What's with the pole - have Health And Safety been round? :D

Technically good, just a bit tightly squeezed in the frame for me. I prefer the colour version but those greens are looking a mite over-saturated?

I prefer the mono... it works with the stone of the statue, though I do prefer the rotation to make the angles slightly better. :D

On the uncroped version part of the hall was in the shot on the left and it was a bit distracting.I have not altered the saturation but i used a circular poloriser - would that effect the green.

Yep - polarisers do increase colour saturation. :)

If you live near there, or go there often, go have a look at the swallows nest. Not sure if they have flown by now but they hadn't a few weeks ago. It's in the corner of the tunnely thing leading to the guinea-pig area from the cafe.
