Went to the shop 'cos we'd run out of bread and I hadn't made any.... :( on the way there I found these cyclists..... rushed for the bread and then for the camera!

Turns out it they ran an Olympic distance tri-athlon, with about 300+ entries - within 200 yds of our door!

A few of my favourites and a little album.....

I must admit that 70-200 f2.8 VR is something else.... if there was ever one lens I was only allowed to keep... this is THE one!

So you wasted valuable time getting the bread .

Nicely done Barry, I find that I under estimate the speed these guys travel at.

Thanks people.....

Unfortunately, my bike is 15 miles aways.... not been ridden for a while either, so probably a good thing it's that far away!

This guys were going some but I must admit they didn't seem like 'real' cyclists. I'm not denigrating the abilities of these tough guys, they just didn't seem as if they were "this is the way to ride a bike" types! :(

These were pretty much straight out of the camera so I was well pleased. It's the first time in three weeks and 1000 frames I took some for myself. Certainly easier than weddings!

It's a stunning lens Matty, I reckon it's the best Nikon have ever designed and built!

Ah, the bread? I had to get the bread before the camera.... so, domestic prime objective achieved!

you don't usually take 'bum' shots! ;)

Excellent focus on all of them...I'll be using that lens just as soon as I've had my shoulder op! :)

Cracking shots there Barry ;)
Love the DOF and focus on them, quite vibrant colours too, although they do seem a little dark on my monitor?

I think my fave has to be number 4 :naughty:
I'd like to say number 5 is, but they look like man's legs...:D

Maybe a tad on the dark side  - there is a lot of shadow around ..... but there again I am a 'darksider'!
