Flotsam and Jetsam

Had a nice stroll on the beach today and came across a few interesting items!

a fishermans glove! on the original if i zoom in i can see barnacles on the fingers! And an old oar of a rowing boat? Would love to know where that came from! (other than a rowing boat)

Decided to crop the sky from #1 as it looked a mess to me, competely blown on one half of the pic. :bonk:

Nicely composed shots though an oar stuck vertically in the sand does look like a set up :)

unfortunately, none of the shots i took with the oar lying down turned out well ;) so had to opt for the arty take on it

I like them both but no.1 would be a clear winner for me. I dont mind the oar looking set up at all but the footprints are a little distracting. :)

hmm..good point about the footprints, tried a little shopping, and it looks ok imo, what do you nice lot think?

I like the first one, it has a really eerie feel about it. My only slight niggle is that the lines in the sand lead the eye out of the frame.
