I like the last one (in this thread), of the dude firing the, er, flamey thing.

I went to the balloon show in Burnley a few weeks ago, and also took lots and lots. Unfortunately, most of mine didn't make the cut either. Very hard to get aesthetically pleasing shots from there. The whole thing looks nice to the naked eye, but very hard to capture that on camera.

Too many bloody people in the way for a start...lol

I think it'd take the roof off as well!!! :D

I got loads of shots that look like they'd be good as we actually has a very good view but the 300mm lens just was too much most of the time for being hand held.

Oh, and the obligatory to$$er in front who kept jumping up to get a better view as I was taking a photo! Eeeejit!

Good caps, but I can see I'm goin to be alot of weedling to get close enough!

Depends on the lens, the 300mm got me plenty close enough I just couldn't hold it steady most of the time.

MTW, I had the camera set to P mode most of the time and it seems to have worked quite well.
