I'm loathe to splash out on V2 (although history sounds very useful) as all the Nik plug-ins crash PS CS5 when I upgraded from 32bit XP to 64bit Windows7. And yes, I did download the supposedly "64 bit" versions of the Nik software. They work fine with LR3 64bit but it seems to be the selective tool crashing PS which is a pain as I have to use the Nik filter in LR3 then save this 'layer' as a separate image and bring it manually into PS. Pain in the proverbial.
WTF. So I went to Nik's website, and attempted to purchase the upgrade (as I already have the first Silver Efex plugin for Aperture), but once I reached the personal details page, I discovered that the United Kingdom is not listed on their country drop-down list, so I was unable to complete the transaction.
[edit]
Aaah, you can select United Kingdom from a drop-down list on their home page. This inexplicably takes you to their German site, but I was able to complete the transaction there. Looking forward to trying out the new features!

Have been using it since it's release, it is much better than V1, but suffers from being slow, and 50% of the time it imports the image but appears to be out of focus, this does not correct itself until it exports the final image back to PS.
