Think it may be better taking pics of a team i dont support as i spent to much time watching the game than taking pics :)

I think you need to get in closer. The first is a bit soft and noisy, I'm guessing it's a crop?.

The second is really well timed, you've got him just as the balls going down, pity you can't see the expression on his face although there's not a huge amount you can do about that.

Thanks dod the first i was at the other side of the feild so fully zoomed in and cropped.
the second was right infront of me, i know what you mean about his expression it would have been good to get that in.
They were done with my bridge camera from the terracing so thats as close as i could get.
