Hi all, I haven't posted for quite some time but I found this and thought you would all be interested.

If one of the mods could move it to the news section please, as I can't post there.

hmmmm

and a dust removal mechanism, which is most likely some sort of vibrating sensor filter similar to Olympus’ SSWF system.

Not like the 400d and 1d Mk3 then ?

the 40D picks up the more recent DIGIC III imaging processor absent from the 30D and will also borrow several features from other cameras in the EOS line, ranging from the dust removal system, true spot metering, and a five frames per second burst rate.

So my 30D does not have true spot metering, and a five frames per second burst rate ?

i am not so bothered with the dust removal thingy, can't beat a good yet clean anyway. only thing is useful is the digic 3

Its poorly (or cleverly :p) worded. The thing its got thats missing from the 30D is the Digic III. The only items are from other EOS cameras, which can of course include the 30D. :)
