I just spent 45 mins outside trying to capture something remotely like a star strewn sky. The sky is jam packed full tonight, and meteors a plenty.
Only problem is that i just can't seem to figure it out.
Would someone mind giving me a run down of the exact setting they would use?
ISO =
F No. =
exposure time =
And any other settings relevant.
Also I can't seem to figure out how to focus to infinity with my kit lens. So unless someone can explain that to me would i be able to use my 70-300mm sigma (obviously at 70mm focal length)?
EDIT: It seems there is no 'infinity' option on the kit lens.. explains everything! As I can quite clearly see it and use it on the sigma 70-300 I have. Doh! The rest will be a breeze now
I know I seem dumb asking for what should be obvious. but I have always struggled with night skies, something just doesn't seem to click in my head. :bang: ... nope that doesn't help either
