The youngsters are finding their own way in the world - sparrow that still likes to be fed

And the robin from the first hatch

Strange the effect of the light on overall colour - comes from using an auto mode in RAW conversion.

One neat cock sparrow.

And one showing signs of wear!
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e375/Exfangman/Birds/Goinggrey.jpg
As is the blackbird going grey - still feeding youngsters.

http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e375/Exfangman/Birds/BTitperch.jpg
And the ever present blue tits to entertain.
Makes the exile to the garage for a puff on the pipe with the post breakfast coffee bearable.

Like the young Robin :)

judging by the reflection in the Blackbirds eye you are taking these with fill flash. It may be getting you clearer shots but the lack of shadows looks wrong somehow.

Nice set FM ... ... although I find the Greenish cast in the second Robin somehow disturbing ... :suspect:

That's why I was trying to take a GREENfinch for you this afternoon. The whole batch was processed quickly this morning as I was coming under control of "local management". It was a case of hitting auto in RAW conversion, cropping, sharpening and neatimage then resizing. The colour cast came just from the varying lighting as the camera being angled downwards with sunlight on the leaf canopy above.

DOF looks a mite shallow in some of them, but they are better than I could do, lol!
