This summer has bought more young starlings to my garden than ever, and they are all trying to prove themselves to each other, i caught these in various arguments around the bird feeders.http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/ForrestGSD/stars3.jpg

That's exactly what I thought when they came on the screen. 1 and 2 I think are wonderful, the background suits them perfectly.

I have to say that usually I find bird photography a bit on the boring side but these are so interesting! Nice work!

Nice shots, trying to get in flight shots is a pain, especially with smaller birds

A great set of images Bev ... ... telling a typically acted out scenario by a bunch of loud, obnoxious, techy, aggressive and argumentative youths ... just like humans really ... :naughty:

And just like humans they don't necessarily grow out of it either ...

Really nice pictures that how great movement. Look lovely and sharp too. Whats the exif on these? My only criticism is you could have done with a better background. I find the grey (fence?) a little distracting. Other than that, great work.

First and last one for me..;)

I know how hard it is getting small birds in flight thus making these shots more appealing.:)

:agree: I would like to see the EXIF data or an idea of what setup you used.

Thank you everyone for taking time to look and give your comments, its just great to know that even the most commonist and sometimes most disliked birds can make good subjects, and look great when in flight. Im just happy to be able to share them.
Im having trouble with my Exif details showing, but these are the details when taken.

Awesome shots, bet you really enjoyed taking those:D

I do enjoy all bird photography but especially inflight shots, so when i run out of other subjects a trip down to the rivers edge with the gulls is quite theraputic:thinking: Thanks for looking Ladybird.:D
