Great series Mitch, the last one is terrific, great detail.
Your right about they will soon be gone, so we must make the most of them.
I got a shot of that bug in #2 a while back. Someone here ID'd it as a blue darter I think. (can't find it now)
Last one is the winner for that wing detail. Nice :)
Last shot for me too
Last shot for me ... bit of a classic
Where do you all find these Damsels & Dragons ... I feel like the only person who hasnt seen one this summer! :(

Thanks for c&c peeps.
Glo & John, there seems to be an abundance of Dragonflies in Norfolk at the moment.
John, 1,3&4 tripod, 2 handheld, I have just started to used my tripod and what a difference it makes, up till now i've handheld for all getting perhaps 2 sharp shots from 10 because i couldn't be asked to carry it, I decided to try out the tripod in earnest on Sunday and once extended with quick release head it took seconds to set up, it was still easy to carry the tripod fully extended and 98% of shots were sharp.
Big big lesson learnt.
