These days you are lucky to see a grey to photograph it let alone getting that close ... :shrug:

Quite a rarity these days, their numbers have really dwindled in comparison to the imported 'Frenchies' Lovely sharp shot - great pose. :)

We have these toddling along the road not too far from where I live, but Ive never seen one close-up like this before.

Excellent details , wonder where you took this shot ? It wasn"t in the city centre was it lol.
You wouldn"t get a Grey posing like that would you ?

Grey Partridges are seen quite a lot around here. There is a resident family in the field at the back of us. they scatter like mice when you walk up the track. Plus there are quite a few hanging around at Kirton Marsh a couple of miles up the road from me. Also beautiful birds :)
