No. 2 first...
positives: the photographer practicing his craft, relative position of the sun, and the colors; also like the low perspective from behind the photographer. I think this shot has been well conceived and executed except for...

cons: I think the horizon is akilter and needs to be straightened, and there's a distinct halo around the photographer.

No. 1...not as strong a photo as number 2; horizon is straight, but there's nothing of great interest (or even modest interest, in the foreground. Overall, the photo is too dark for my taste; I'd like to see more detail and less shadow. The low hills on the left have a halo, it appears.

Positives, though....nice colors; good concept, and kudos for getting out and taking some photos!
