Been having a stab at replicating some older photo techniques from some 'also ran' shots.

Blà Bheinn (Blaven) Isle of Skye - Not part of the 'main' Cuillin Ridge but possibly Skye's finest.

I like the Modern Marmite version here, but would also like to see some more drama in the clouds.
Love this place though, what I'd give to be there permanently . . . .

Yep - clouds are a bit naff and there's no doubt the sky in the current version could be improved upon but that shot was PP'd as a stepping stone to the 'older' versions.

I might have a stab at bringing out the best from the original shot.

I'm quite fortunate as I get to go to Skye quite often - never get fed up of the place even though I don't always have time for photography.
