I've been doing a lot of reading around the subject of pose's for Weddings.
Has anyone got any advice please on poses that work for them, and perhaps any advice on how to get people in these poses.
(and I don't mean the photographer poses )
Thanks
Allan
For group photos I just tell them to bunch together tight to eliminate empty spaces and to arrange themselves. I then have a quick scan to see if anyone is looking really awkward like half bent over and sort that out, then shoot a few frames and move onto the next photo.
This way you don't keep them waiting around for too long and end up with more relaxed and natural shots.
That's my style at least.
I recently saw a great pose - well sort of a pose,
It was a picture of the bride and groom just about to kiss / nibble an ear but it was of the shadow of them and It came across so well I was gobsmacked.
Obvioulsy you'll need a good sunny day (not this year then ) with a good background but if on offer then defo have a go at it.
