Stonechat ?
I agree... either a Stonechat... or a Whinchat. Probably juvenile as there is no stripe above the eye.
Stonechat, that was my first thought (but InaGlo put the robin among the pigeons so to speak)but couldn't get a clear photo to compare ,
thank you.
OMG! what am I like! :coat:
Well you can always trust me to be totally off track... dont see why I should make any exceptions
Yip, had a hunt about good old t'internet and it's definitely a juvenile stonechat.
Suppose that's another one you've beaten me to :(
See ya.

 ... don't beat yourself up too much Glo ... it is the same family after all (Thrushes ... :D)
Lovely shots of this little 'thrush' they are too ... ... and definitely a Stonechat as id'd earlier ...
:p
Definately a Juv Stonechat, beautiful picture! #1 is a gem.
Only wish i had bigger lens as this was taken with 200mm and 1.4 converter. at about 10mtrs so just shows how close you have to get to them, ok someone might tell me what I can do to get them better, always open to suggestions. Ok there is some good info on here and others sites so does help if only I could take it in, age again I'm afraid, well it seems that way as I'm always getting told,"you old bugger" or words to that effect, exscuse language.
