Just found this for anyone who may be local and/or passing:
City workers in London are spending their lunchtimes relaxing at the beach this week - thanks to BT.
The company is sponsoring an urban beach in the financial heart of London - complete with the latest BT technology - to show that business people can work as effectively in the sunshine as they do at their desks.
Finsbury Square has been transformed with 100 tonnes of sand, 30 palm trees and deckchairs. Visitors can surf using BT Openzone wi-fi access and teams are on hand to demonstrate BT Business Office Anywhere - a new pocket-sized smartphone that has the functions of a Windows PC including making voice calls over the internet.
Don't mean this as a plug - just thought it would make for some interesting images!!!
