Seem to be trapped in the house this summer with this awful weather. Just bought a Sigma 17-70 lens to go with my new DSLR, Samsung GX-10. These are the only 2 shots I've managed so far, nothing special I'm afraid !!

Wooah!
Way too big .... 800px on the longest side please.

That said, that is some beautiful & lush scenery youve captured there!
Shame about the lack-lustre skies though.

Btw, is it Horseshoe Pass?
Excuse my ignorance if not .... I mistake everywhere for Horseshoe pass ;)

The second image is 1024x685 but it shows as only 800 on my browser. If I copy the address and paste it the image shows full size, weird!

Very strange - re-edited it again , original was 800x600 though --- hopefully o.k ?

The first shot works better for me. Looks much better in portrait orientation, and lovely lead in lines that draws the eye right into those lush green hills.

Thanks for the comments & I agree completely - the potrait version really emphasises the depth of the valley. I find myself more & more taking landscape shots in the Portrait aspect
