Heres one I took when the weather was better in June at the local old airfield.

Something looks a bit odd about that shot. Think it is because the focus is well forward on the grasses near the camera, which means the clouds are very out of focus and soft. The trees look like they have been sharpened rather than being in focus and they are the only subject you have in the shot.

For landscapes it is usually best to focus on something a third of the way into the scene so you get more in focus overall. If you can select which focus point the camera uses try picking the middle one as it may have chosen to use the lower one if it is currently on auto for choosing AF focus point.
