Tripod

Hi I am new to this forum aswell as photography (DSLR) in general. I have recently purchased a canon D400 and I am trying to buy some extras. I am trying to buy a tripod, but there is so much out there I cannot decide. My budget is probably £100, what do you reckon I should go for.

a lot depends on your glassware
if you only have the kit lens, then something less robust will do
if you have, or plan to have anythng more substantial (telephoto, zoom, ...)
you'll need a stronger support = more £££

I intend to buy a 10-20mm wide angle lense and a general telephoto lense , 70-300mm ( which i am presently ebaying for) and also a flash gun...what do you rekon

you probably need to look at the Manfrotto range
I got a one (055PROB) for £105 at warehouse express
but you then need to add a head - another £55 same source
you can get "budget" tripods, but I find them just too flimsy to be useful
