Popped out to Heybridge Basin (Maldon) this morning and took a few shots pre and post sunrise, this was one just before the sun came up,

Good combination of a stunning sunrise plus the silhouette.

Maldon Mud is well renowned for its 'Golden' tones....... Have you any other shots where the mud in the foreground is more reflecting the sun?

You may know, Maldon has an annual Mud Race, normally held just after Xmas, but the last race was cancelled due to bad weather and they rescheduled to the 25th April.

ps Brought back memories as when I was both fit and keen, we would get up at sunrise (tides permitting) and water-ski further down river and behind Northey Island.
