There were so many Scotland images appearing around the time I took these I thought I'd sit on them for a while. Usual excuse with the dull weather but at least I came back with something!

Wish I could remember all the place names. This was one side of a road

And this was the other side

So we started off up this footpath and realised we were getting closer to the clouds and were unlikely to see anything at the end. Looking back....

People coming down confirmed you could not see anything so we went back down and left the car park. 50 yards later you could see it...

pretty sure this was on the way to kilt rock but I could be wrong.

and this is kilt rock in the distance with its quilts and stripes

Not a bad view from your back door

Hmm this looked better when it was bigger!

trouble with shots like this is you can't see the deep wet bits you can't help but step in.

Think I should have upped the saturation on this - the rust was really bright.

And this was just down the road from the red tin stone crushing shack type thing.

looks like a heck of a trip
as each one went by I thought - yup - that's the one
but the rusty works is the best of this particular bunch!

Robert - You did well not getting the handrail in for the Waterfall by Kilt Rock !
The Old Man is such a lovely sight, all shots I see of it I adore :)
Skye is just so darn beautiful ! Did you carry on around the top of the Quiraing ?

Assuming that is what the headland is called - yes we did.

They are really nice shots. I particularly like the first waterfall.

I've a bit of a love / hate relationship with Skye. We were there in July and 1st day out my 350D died, dead. So that was that. Oh and a bill for £150 to repair the thing. :bang:

Looks a wonderful place, pity about the weather.

I like 1, 2, 6 & 8 but have to agree that the rusty shack really rather is good too.

No 7 was just down the road from where my panorama and only sunset shotwere taken lol.

Just over the east side of trotternish.

Scotland is nice when it's like that, but not very photogenic alas.

No need for saturation, the tin is brilliant... Excellent capture, the best one for me.

Nice set. The Skye folk have been coming over to Inverness and boasting that they have been having great weather all summer. Haven't seen any photographic evidence of it

hmmmm, nice. In a coupleof weeks I'll be somewhere in the background of no.7. The Torridons Dazza?
