Hi All
I am getting increasingly frustrated with the performance of my webhosting service and am thinking about moving. It's not too important at the moment as there isn't much on there but I am working on a major project which will need better connectivity.
I need to host in a Windows environment with ASP.NET 2.0 extensions available.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
Paul

Thanks. I saw that, but most of the links posted are for Unix based hosting and not Windows.

Best value I've seen is easyspace, in fact the only provider I've found that has .net included rest seem to always have a £## extra pm for a DB or .net which annoys me considering its a core MS technology.
Can't say I've loads of traffic going through any of them (my own, local RSPCA and my friends business) so can't give you an accurate answer on performance under heavy use but so far no problems with timeouts. Only problem I've had is with thumbnails being displayed (created on the fly by .net) but I get that on my local machine so is nothing to do with the hosting provider.
I got the starter plus package as it had everything I needed (asp.net, MYSQL DB, TLD) £85 for two years IIRC.
Hope that helps

Give fast hosts www.fasthosts.co.uk a try, I think their Developer package may fit your needs.
