Overlooking the mere. I know I missed the focus slightly, but I just liked the image and thought I'd share it ! I was undecided whether to clone out the gravestone in the grass, but decided to leave it in the end .........

That's very nice indeed. It is a tad soft but that doesn't take anything away from it for me.

Agreed. It has a strong cool blue cast which may or may not be intentional and tbh it rather suits the shot anyway.

Thanks, I think the softness comes from the long exposure and missing the focus slightly. The blue levels were indeed increased slightly to bring out the darker area's of the sky and to take a little of the green out of the water in the mere :thumbs:

Thanks Mohain, this was one of those, "I know its not quite right, but I like it" kind of pictures for me. Glad others agree, makes me feel a little less self indulgent !:lol::thumbs:

That's good, that is. Nice composition. It was the correct decision to leave the gravestone as is. You've got some good stuff in you flickr too.
