can you connect the camera direct to the computer with a USB cable and get them that way?

It could be the firmware or drivers for your printer needs updating see the manufacturers website.

its not a SDHC card is it ?. and your Ultra 2 was a standard SD card ?.

Have you installed the drivers for the card reader part of your printer.

you can also get recovery programmes for memory cards, sandisk or lexar do them and they come free with certain cards.

had this happen to me too, 2gb Extreme III SD card, my card reader wouldnt read it at all just flashed its lights for about 5 minutes and said there was nothing on it. Put the card back in the camera, plugged camera in to the PC and downloaded them no problem ! i think my reader needs replacing ! it may be your printer card reader doesnt support those cards.

I have a sandisk 2gb SD like that too. The camera can see it, my Jobo Giga One can see it but no card reader ever does.

Never got to the bottom of why, just on of lifes strange things. I'll keep an eye on this thread as someone clever will probably know what's going on.

just wondering whether or not the extreme card reader that has just been reviewed would help?

Just tried my 2gb Extreme III sd card and it works in the card reader in my computer but it wont work in my sandisk card reader, I would have expected the other way round if anything.

I've got an Akasa internal card reader:

Costs more than the cheapo Chinese equivalent but it's absolutely superb - never let me down.

Plugs straight into a USB header on the motherboard.
