looking for a 50mm f/8 either 1 or 2. I know 1 goes for more. What is reasonable price? I was looking on fleabay and few are asking for more than retail (mk ii). I've seen it retail for £55 or £68 shop.com. I offered £30 and guy must have choked on his cornflakes, a pleasant but go away dont insult me. what is a reasonable price on one. Yeah i know i'm cheap lol

£55 for a new one in a UK shop is a damn good price.

I'd expect to pay £45-55 for a second hand MKII in good condition.

looked at kerso's site £50 (good price) I put in offer on one so if it falls thru just might look up kerso lol

I guess that's a typo and you want a f/1.8 rather than f/8 - which really would be cheap!:lol:

I bought a 17-55 lens off Kerso and a 50mm 1.8 at the same time - he only charged one lot of postage, was a little bit cheaper than his eBay shop and pleasant to deal with.
