View Full Version : screen protector
I'm concerned about damage to my LCD screen on my Samsung GX 10. I've googled the web and come across a liquid protector called DuraSec NanoTec liquid. Not sure I want to use a liquid on the screen and there are no user reviews for it that I can see. A friend has a Nikon with a plastic cover and that seems a great idea. Any advice chaps and chapesses would be very welcome? I can't be the only one who has this concern.

I use plastic stick on peel off protectors about a £5 from your local camera shop and you get enough to renew it at least a half a dozen times.

Likewise - I used a spare bit to cover the LCD on the top of the camera too :geek:
Hi,
Although you have stated you do not want to use liquid
on your screen , have a look at this site.
www.scratchwraps.com they do a product which myself have just ordered from them. By all accounts it looks great.
There is a downloadable instruction sheet which might be helpfull as well.

I've got one of these on my 30D, you'd have to search for one to fit your Samsung/Pentax mind.

I make my own from a bit of cd case and some black tape. Cut it a bit bigger then the screen put the tape around the edges and stick i bit of blue tack in each corner. Then stick onto the screen, it works a treat.
