Okay, first time up for in depth critique.

Red Admiral.

there is some painful brightness going on in that first one! Some of the flower detail looks to have gone in the highlights and the white patch on the wing looks lost too. Very nice composition, sharp and good detail in the darker parts of the butterfly.

Second one is OK but in contrast to the first one it looks under exposed - like the flash did not fire properly on a dark evening shot.

i think with shot two that if you had been at eye level with the squirrel it might of looked as you werent looking down on it so much

Thanks gents, back to the drawing board. I checked my camera settings and for the second shot it did have a -0.3ev compensation dialled in for some reason. :thinking:

Hi, I like the squirrel, he is positioned well horizontally, but maybe he is vertically a little central (did I say that right? I mean he needs to come down or go up the image a bit)

Oh yeah, the logo....... kind of large dude :)
