I wouldnt like to be on the M1 when they blow them. I bet they will be closing the stretch.
Pitty they are going, like you say they are a land mark.

Apparently blowing them at 3am - might drive down with my camera though no doubt I will just snore through instead

ooo I might have to try and get some shots of that demolition. Cracking shot! there is one shot I have wanted to get of them, and thats the sun setting between them....they show it on "The Full Monty" and it is a cracking shot. Looks like I will have to get my skates on!

The HDR treatment is a little OTT for my liking. I can't believe they are knocking the towers down - they are one of Sheffield's best landmarks :(
Always knew I was home when I saw the towers :)

Don't worry min. It will soon be a Tesco's or something equally interesting! :gag:

Thank heavens for the reprieve. Some call them ugly but to me they are a welcome sight. I know I only have another hour before I am home when I see them.
JL you may get that sun setting shot after all !
I like the shot, but then again I like HDR.

It is going to be a power station apparently, burning recycled wood or something or other, which seems a little odd as I though recycled wood would be usefull as....wood! :(
P.S - Its TESCO! NOT TESCO'S :p

I like HDR but I feel that this shot is just a bit over processed.
