Took a drive out this evening, wasn't hopeful as it was dull and overcast... then just as the sun set there was a nice calm break in the clouds..

Fancied taking one of the boats and sailing off into the sunset! :)

By horizon I mean the water's edge on the far side of the lake.

Fair point, Was too busy getting eaten alive by midges to check! :)

The composition looks stunning, It looks a bit dark on my monitor - Even for me ! Is that a bridge in the background ?

Yes there is a bridge. I did however try to expose to more or less eliminate it...

OK - Straighten the horizon it does look a little wonky. I would consider pushing it a little further, towards a siloutte style, I am struggling to make out the boats or jetty.

The colours are fantastic. Straighten the horizon and it should be great. Not sure about my eyes being drawn to the bridge in the distance though.....
That'll be Ladybower then i guess? :thumbs:

That is a really super image :thumbs: ... but I have to agree it is spoiled by looking wonky ... :shrug: ... my old eyes or not ... :D
