A swift tap with a magazine saw him dazed for about 5 mins, just long enough to get some piccys ;)
He flew off none the worse for his experience :)

I don't have any fancy gear as yet, this was taken using the on board pop-up flash (diffused with a piece of tissue paper).

I prefer the newspaper rather than the magazine personally but to the same result!

That is a super, stops you in your tracks, image Phil ... :thumbs: ... loving the detail in that little critter ... :eek:
The only thing that might have improved it is a greater DoF to have the antennae in focus imgo ... :shrug: ... but small detail and a lovely shot to be proud of ... ;) ... especially after all the trouble you went to to get it ... :lol:
