Really nice shot, I love the feet leading into the distance. Possibly a little over PP for my liking?
Now this I definitely like.
Your footprints? well thought out. Looks good on my monitor.:)

The foot prints are leading to the camera.
It's a great pic, but i can't help feeling it'd be stronger with the prints going away from you......but that would have meant getting wet feet scooting back on your self without leaving a sign.

I agree but could not think of a way of doing it without getting 2 set of prints, so I took the shot anyway.
lots of small steps for man, one giant leap out of the frame.
Good idea and very nice shot from it.
Kissfoto, nice shot good idea. You could always try it again, walking backwards though!

The only way you could have done it would have been to walk off into the distance and then walk back 50 yards or so to the side of the original prints so the new set were out of shot.
Difficult I know on a beach as other people will come and ruin your carefully staged shot or the water will wash the prints away.
It is a great shot though

:agree: that would make the shot splendidily
great pic and I don't think its over pp'ed at all.
walk backwards in future ;)

That made me laugh :D
Agreed, great photo!
bizarre
first time I looked the footprints seemed to be raised rather than sunk in the sand
I scrolled back and now they're sunk (as they should be)
just looking on eBay for new eyes
great picture though, and well executed!
have to agree about the footprints but lovely shot none the less
Really nice shot
