I just for the life of me can't suss it out.

Yes, i have looked in the manual but thats not very helpful as it doesnt actually tell you how to change it.

Can anyone give me idiot-proof instructions on how to change the self-timer length please?

...i'm now going to sit in the corner and sulk. :gag:

got it sorted now...many thanks.

In laymans terms...got to the CMS menu (pencil) and scroll down to #16 - Self-timer. Press OK and change it to what you want.
