First thought... reminded me of bacteria!
Nothing wrong with the idea, but in any set piece where you're in total control the composition should be good. The LHS bacterium spoils it for me. Crop it out and a bit of the OoF foreground and re-submit - it'll be stronger methinks

Nice idea, agree the pill on the left is nether here or there and the level of the table slopping away does help the shot. I think it would look great on a reflective surface.

LHS = left hand side, sorry
Much better, though I meant a tight crop of the LHS pill to leave more space on the left than the right.
Here the crop's a bit too tight on the left, leaving a wee bit too much space on the right which is doing nothing for the shot.
The idea of a bit more space on the left than the right is to create a space the pills 'could' be rolling into, bit like the general idea of leaving space in front of a moving car, bike, etc. for them to move into; rather than a big space behind them showing where they've been, as we always look ahead
Being a bit more off-centre with more space on the left would add to getting closer to the rule of 3rds too
As for the sloping table, that's fine by me and creates a wee bit more arty interest
Well worth the effort
The lighting is nice.
I'm getting an olde world apothecary vibe from this.
Though a little more DoF would be better.
The crop i prefer is this one:

I like the shallow DoF a lot :)
Maybe the lighting could be a tad softer.
