Bit of a departure from the usual seascape/coastal scenes so I wondered if this "works" in terms of an attempted fine art rendition. My wife isn't a fan of the desaturation and reckons that I've lost the essence (of the flower I think...).

I wanted the centre to be relatively sharp as the aperture was f/1.4. I bounced a wee bit of light back with a small reflector.

Frankly I think I do prefer the desatch version Milou ... as the colour pic is not really that exciting as it is ... :suspect: ... although as it is almost a mono image it could really do with a bit more contrast to make it snap imgo ... :D

I like the first two, the first one most, though.

There are nice colours in the second one, but the first one just seems to work better for me for some reason.
