Pink by the pond

This came out by the pond the other day.. no idea what it is but by the bud stalk it looks like some kind of crocosmia (montbretia) flowers are just over 2" wide.

oh I love it, it's the same as the red version, it is crocosmia isn't it? I love the second shot :)

I agree, Ewan. I didnt actually bother too much as I only wanted an ID on them really!! ;)

I think i have learnt my lesson on posting unprocessed shots to get an ID!! I've done it before and got a slating!! :D

Both good shots Janice, 2 just pips it for me.
I'm not so sure it's a Crocosmia though, I'll need to think about that one.

Nope, still thinking. Some species of Crinum comes to mind but I'm umming and arring about that.:)
