Hi Alex . Good to see someone else on here using a lowly S5000. I have just bought one myself having struggled with a finepix 2800 for a year.
I'm not really into flowers personally so I am afraid they do not really stimulate my interest but I have to say there are some promising shots here . It might be interesting to try some more inventive composing. image 19 for instance I bet that would look really great if you faded the background out a bit to accentuate the rose and then lightly spray the rose with `dew' using a plant spray. Might be interesting to get really close on the petals play with lighting and shadows etc to add more contrast and depth
Sorry Alex I don't mean that to sound critical. I'm a noob so my opinion is pretty useless but your shots have stimulated me to think about how one might experiment a bit with composure . Well done anyway. Can't wait until I get my S5000 tomorrow

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I'm interesting in photo composition and photo editing. Recently, I bought a few books and try to read them in my free time.

You can see my photo gallery (http://www.mywebsiteadviser.com/create_free_photo_album/gallery_menalto_example/main.php) here.

All pictures except "Underwater World" I made with Fuji FinePix S5000. I like this camera very much.
