Hi All
I didn't think this was up to much, but thought I'd post and share regardless. Was taken in the new Bird and Animal park, about 15km outside Paphos, Cyprus on our recent holiday. I can thoroughly recommend this venue as a good few hours outing for adults and children. There's a load of cool things going on - bird of prey shows, feeding times, etc; and they look after their animals very well. Apparently it's one of the hottest (excuse the pun) new attractions in Cyprus.
At least I managed not to get too much of a reflection of the flash firing :). Caught him/her just as the membrane came over the eye!
I also acknowledge that my skills in determining DoF are not up to much yet, and I must practice/learn how best to accomplish this. I feel a deeper DoF on this image would have made for a more pleasing image.
