Yeah I know :)
I'm looking to get a decent Macro lens, possibly the Sigma 50mm EX DG. What glass did you use? Fantastic shots by the way.

You and your Raynox really are king of the macro shots.
I love the detail in the eyes.
Nice shots again with superb detail, I have to confess I am looking at the raynox lenses, but some of the samples on the raynox website aren't that great.

I love my Raynox lenses so much I don't us my kenko tubes very much now on my Canon. I don't think you would be disappointed if you purchased one. The 150 is the easiest to use followed by the 250. The 202 is the hardest to use as it has an ultra thin DOF but is great for minute insect like this fly, it was only 2-3mm.

Thanks for looking Gandhi. These were shot at about half zoom 240mm or there abouts, the exif is still intact if you want to look. I think the panny and raynox is a wonderful combination. I wish I had got the fz50 though for the hot shoe to improve my lighting. I might have to upgrade when I get some spare cash:)

both good, #2 standing out though, great shot! :) That Panny is worth every penny. Looked into the Raynox lenses, but unfortunatley they wont fit onto the tamron (49mm) by the looks of it.
my extension tubes came today, so i've had a bit of a play....extension tubes>x2 TC>Tamron 90mm! :cuckoo: gets lovely and close, and suprised it doesn't really effect the exposure at all...I wish i had a garden, bugs dont really like my bricked up back yard!
Great shots , 2nd one is fantastic

Thanks for looking AH, the raynox will fit you need a stepdown ring, if your tamron is 49mm get a 49-43 stepdown for the dcr 250 or 150 and a 49-37 for the msn 202.

tbh I don't think there's much improvement over the fz30. Yous should be able to pick one up on the bay fairlycheap nowadays.

I thing the difference between a secondhand 30 and a new 50 is less than £50 so I would bother with the fz30, may just go for the new fz50 or wait and see what the new replacement for the 50 is going to be.
Stunning, especially No2. You continue to impress mate, great work!
