I've often thought of popping in there...not very far from me...but didn't know what to expect. I think I'll pay a visit ow that the schools have gone back.

Lovely detail in the Pelican shot.

Havent been to Bourton-on-the-water in years, all I remember from it is the miniature houses.

I was beginning to think that I must be a bit odd, as I seem to be the only one who liked the photo of 2 headless penguins. Thanks Inaglow - I may be odd but I'm not quite the only one.

Birdland is quite a nice place to go. The highlight by far is the King Penguins. It's the only place in the UK, apart from Edinburgh Zoo, where they can be seen. The rest of the place is a bit overshadowed by this, but pleasant nonetheless.

If I get round to it I will put up a photo of a baby King Penguin - unbelievably fluffy.
