A young Kestrel only around 2-3 years old hovering.
Canon 1DMK2N - Canon 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM Lens.
ISO - 400
F Stop - F5.6
Shutter - 1/4096

I only had around a 2 seconds then it dived and was gone. Took around 5 frames, this was the best one of the bunch.
i love birds of prey, its a coincidence really as i saw a kestrel when i was fishing yesterday :)
Great pic, 11/10 i give you for that!
Fantastic shot, i need to save for that lens.

Take it you know that because she is a tame/falconer's bird ... :shrug:
Still a super image though PL ... :thumbs: ... spot on in most respects except I might be tempted to have a go at cloning out the jesses ... ;)

Ye she is a team kestrel, the guy said she was 2 or 3 cant remember. He chuched it up in the air and she started to hover for a second and then down to the ground.

Glad you all like it, just got the one good shot from the 5 frame i took. Just shows you that you have to blast away at some point.
