Canon 1DMK2N - Canon 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM Lens.
ISO - 400
F Stop - F5.6
Shutter - 1/4096

I only had around a 2 seconds then it dived and was gone. Took around 5 frames, this was the best one of the bunch.

i love birds of prey, its a coincidence really as i saw a kestrel when i was fishing yesterday :)

Take it you know that because she is a tame/falconer's bird ... :shrug:

Still a super image though PL ... :thumbs: ... spot on in most respects except I might be tempted to have a go at cloning out the jesses ... ;)


Is that straight out the gear or have you cropped much ... :thinking:

Ye she is a team kestrel, the guy said she was 2 or 3 cant remember. He chuched it up in the air and she started to hover for a second and then down to the ground.
