When this guilty looking teenage greenfinch arrived to join the goldfinch - I could not resist the addition The young greenfinches look like miniture songthrushes with their speckled fronts showing through the leaves.

:lol::lol: Never noticed their speckled tums before....but never been this close either! ;) The Greefinch looks a wee bit soft... but the feeder crisp...probably a DoF thing.

Had to choose - gold or green to focus on F2.8 as dof about 1cm or less at 8ft away on the swinging feeder in the breeze . . . you can't have everything and the little b***ers din't often stay still for long.
