View Full Version : A couple of Swans.
Took these today at the same place the kingfisher was taken. I hope they look bright enough on everybody's moniters as I think mine needs calibrating.
C&C welcome as usual.

Thanks for looking :)
I suspect you need to fiddle with contrast and brightness as the swans look burnt out and the background is very dark
nice composition though
IMHO
I think you need to drag the greypoint up in the levels to adjust the midtone brightness, the shadows overwhelm the water but the highlights are more or less right.
Far too dark on my monitor Ewan - I do like that 1st shot from what I can see of it though
Thanks guys.
The highlights look fine on my moniter, but then it does need calibrating. I was going for a dark look but not quite that dark! I'll re-edit and post when I've fixed my screen :)

As I said they're fine on my moniter but it needs settings adjusting :)
