shame about the birdhouse in the first, it spoils anotherwise excellent shot.

the owl / bacground look a tad blown / underexposed, as you might expect with such a dynamic range... difficult to get right. You didnt do too badly.

the fowl isnt foul at all its pin sharp and spot on

Just to say was using Mikeyb's bigger lens, 400m and not use to it, prefer my own 70 - 200 but he is on holiday with it, not great exscuse but all I've got, but appreciate comments good or bad.

I'm with OG on 2 and 3. No1 is spoiled by the background imho, some sort of wire cage ? Otherwise a fine shot.

I didn't want to make to many excuses, but your right about the wire cage, had to go press camera against it to eliminate it, I'm not able to use PhShop so have to leave things as they are or almost as they are not that it would have helped much in this case. Thanks for comments from OG and yourself.
