I was out the afternoon before 800 wandering around Mathew Street as the festival was on. I wanted to make sure, before the Tuesday morning, that I could do the 100 portraits. I spotted these two girls and asked for their photo. The rest was history.

Think you may be right there Pete, the one on the left looks like she's right at home in front of the camera though!
Like the choice of patterning mate, the flower dresses work really well together as well as the light hair/dark hair contrast :thumbs:

Petemc makes girls nervous :eek:

She does spoil the shot though and reminds me of Cherie Blair (:puke:) who can never smile naturally in the face of a camera.

Now I know there are attractive, natural and relaxed girls up there so go find them. :D

I thought that nervous smile was rather sweet, although it did remind me a little bit of Nick Park's cartoons.

I think it's an excellent shot, love the expressions just as they are. They contrast each other so well and that combines with their hair colour contrast, well done.
